Today I feel cheeky.
I know something other people don't.
It's fun to have a secret - even though you already shared half of it with your subscribers and wrote a post about it. See, that's my problem. I get wayyy to excited at the start of things, so I unleash my excitement all over the place, and once it's dried out, I move onto the next exciting things.
This year I'm working on better habits.
And I am SO proud I've been successful thus far!
I have not missed one cat feeding. I have not missed one Academy entry. And I have not missed one task I had set for myself for a while now.
A part of me is afraid this productivity/consistency streak is going to end, but another knows better - we are the habits we have built for ourselves. I really believe that, you guys. Just read The Power of Habit or Zen Habits.
I'm talking about...
- the habit of finishing things
- the habit of consistently showing up
- the habit of creating daily
All of those habits are priceless for a multipassionate!
(And #The100DayProject probably enforces all of those three.)
Habits account for most of our decisions on any given day, which means most of your life is a string of habits. Which means that your life is a reflection of your habits. Which means if you have good habits, you're gonna have a good life.
I'm liking this string of thoughts, but I gotta go now.
I'll let you ponder.
